Here's a pic long-owed to Alex White (sorry for taking so long!). I sorta kinda owed him one... a significant one... And when I offered to draw him a pic of his fave Sonic character to make up for my daftness and he accepted I was extremely pleased. Thank you for being so understanding Alex! Let's never mention that incident again, hah!!
So this pic was originally sketched as part of a series of rough sketches I created during a Counselling Studies class. While the teacher was talking. It was when I felt most creative!
I knew as soon as I'd finished the sketch, however, that this would be the one I'd persevere with. Sadly shit has hit the fan in my personal life, and a very kind friend of mine is currently looking after my netbook + Wacom Bamboo. Which is amazing and I'm incredibly grateful! Did think my digital art creation days were temporarily on hiatus though. And in a sense they very much have been. However! When visiting a Pound shop in Wood Green last week I saw an Android/iOS stylus set. One of which was way more dinky than a so-called 'art stylus' (called Kuel 2000 or some crap) I stupidly bought a year ago. This dinky stylus is waaay more useful! Don't get me wrong, it's still not the pinprick accuracy us artists crave (which makes me sad that I don't get on better with Colors 3D, because the 3DS stylus is much closer to a real sharp pencil than any stylus compatible with my Nexus 7 ever will be...). So I bought it. I spent that pound!!!! And it was super worth it <3
I'm happy with this piece. Yes it's not perfect, but I'm a lazy Sagittarian artist, rarely anything people like me produce ever is! I suppose we're just not all that meticulous with finer details.... For example ; I went over the line-art on the hand closer to the camera on my tablet software after colouring. Which is super obvious. And I tried to hide it to some extent, and managed to. But overall the job just proved too much effort! So I abandoned it...
I'm proud of this in any case! And hope people like
